Accessibility Remodeling: A Walk-In Shower for him / A Soaking Tub for her
This extensive bathroom remodel involved accessibility changes as well as long term comfort and beauty. The old bathroom presented numerous challenges for this couple facing a long illness. He needed wheel chair access to the shower and she really wanted a Japanese soaking tub. Medical supplies for him cluttered the cabinets. He found if difficult getting up from the toilet. The existing bathroom was clearly to small to meet their needs.Inno-Craft Designs expanded the existing bathroom by removing the wall into an adjoining space and expanded the exterior wall by several feet. This created space to fulfill not only their needs, but their dreams too. At the end of the project, She was thrilled with her new soaking tub, and he had great satisfaction with his new accessible shower. Also installed was a new wheelchair accessible sink to add to his comfort and needs. This not only fit his needs, but was strikingly beautiful.
